On top of full service design, I do lots of design consultations. For those clients who are happy to do the leg work themselves my new design services, which will go on Marmalade this week and can be purchased directly on LiveLikeYou is the way to go.  During the 2 hour DESIGN KICK (in house or via Skype)  we go through your entire home, even storage and areas you are embarrassed about (!), and solve all your stressful design dilemmas. I have a lot of fun meeting such lovely people, and I often forget what’s fun for me is somebody’s stress. Many select THE ULTIMATE DESIGN KICK where I also create a design plan (and you get products discounts) for each desired room and do follow up sessions.

Pamela,  contacted me a while back when she and her son Peter had just moved in to their new place. She loves colorful, modern stuff, and has passion for vintage shopping but needed help pulling it together.  We did a follow up consultation this weekend and I was thrilled to see how it’s coming together.

This is the place when she had just moved in…

She had lots of good pieces and her inspiration pictures were pretty bold and fearless which was fun.

So in the design plan I could speck bold choices, which she promptly went about having done.  I suggested painting the chairs above a high gloss iguana green with a black and white geometric fabric.

The result is awesome!

Although a rental I suggested painting the panels black and highlight trim white for a bolder look, and her landlord went along.

Can never go wrong with black and white.

I’m convinced she now has the coolest dining space in her neighborhood.

The dining room rocks. LOVE!

I had suggested peacock pillows from Live Like You for the living room couch. Inspired by some peacock prints Pamela had.

The colors would set the color scheme.

But Pamela found a good budget option for the pillows online…

I never show up without my paint guide…

This weekend we went over a bunch of additional paint colors.

Because you know how it goes…when you start improving your home, you want to go all the way!

I love entering a home and making a statement the second you enter. Even when foyers are small and perhaps not architecturally there, you can create them visually.  We picked an art deco wall paper online.

Here I’m checking it out. Thinking also a silver archway would define it perfectly.

Peter liked the cool lamps his mom had bought…so I picked some colors, fabrics and makeovers for his room…of course approved by Peter.

I had also specked for his bathroom to be painted ( it’s also the guest bathroom) a dark deep satin blue.

That made the space more elegant from the foyer. A carpet from the kitchen seemed a perfect fit in the bathroom.

First always move things around your home, when looking for something.

And here’s a peek of a piece of the living room. Pamela had found an amazing rams head coffee table since last time we met, so we moved the existing  carpet to Peter’s room, and restyled the space a bit.

I’ll share more on this town house later as it’s coming together.

Love the living room in the townhouse. Elegant in white with just enough color to make it interesting and juicy. Like all the things on the coffee table. They make a tablescape that draws you in.

Your design solutions are awesome !! I love to decorate my home, and within the next couple of months I'll be redecorating my bedroom. Right now it's got sort of a retro-modern-Swedish folk art motif. Lots of white, minimal furniture, bright pops of red, orange and yellow, and whimsical art.Panama City Beach Condo Rentals

Make sure the things in your home are insured before you plan any repairs.
Surprisingly, you can actually save money from hiring contractors as you are ensured
that the roof is professionally taken care of.

The secondary mortgage market is a market where
primary investors sell existing home loans to investors.
These significant people in your life will always provide you with their
